Eighteen months later, Catherine is resilient as ever. When the body of a third prostitute is found in wasteland, Catherine is devastated to find that she’s required to find an alibi after she’s linked to the murder. As it becomes apparent that a serial killer is at large, Catherine joins the dots and discovers that - whilst still a suspect - the investigation is more complex than anyone could have imagined.
